PROGRAM

Leading Humans @ Work

Grow the leaders your people deserve. Real-world leadership development for the humans doing the work.

In fast-moving startups, it's tempting to lead by process and policy. But the managers who thrive aren't the ones with the most detailed performance rubric or the most efficient work allocation system. They're the ones who know how to build trust, communicate honestly, and show up for the actual humans on their team

— and build systems that support that, rather than replace it.

Why Most Programs Don't Stick

Binge-learning

All training crammed into a few days, forgotten by Monday.

No support after

Info flows one way. Managers are left to figure out real life on their own.

Theory without practice

Managers know why but not how — and nothing gets applied.

A different approach

Real learning happens over time, in community, and with space to practice the messy real-life stuff — not just understand it. It starts with self-leadership, blends training and coaching continuously, and provides support that has no stake in anyone's performance review.

Leadership isn't something you either have or you don't. It's learnable. It just requires motivation, a willingness to make mistakes, and an environment that doesn't throw you in the deep end and hope for the best.

It's not a softer approach. It's a human one.

How it works

6-month cohort program

One training + one group coaching session per month, for a cohort of managers

Monthly Training Session

A focused skill or concept each month — with the balance of theory and practice so managers understand both the why and the how.

Monthly Group Coaching

Managers bring real challenges, learn from peers, and get support applying learning to their actual work — from someone with no stake in their review.

What changes

By the end of the program, managers show up differently. They:

Give honest feedback

Without shying away from hard conversations

Authentic leadership style

Lead as themselves, not an imitation

Communicate well

More frequently and effectively across the org

Aware of their impact

Conscientious, thoughtful decision-makers

Ask for help

Know how - and actually does it

Why I built this

I didn't set out to create a program. I just got lucky. Early in my career, I had something most new leaders never get — regular development workshops, a mentor who helped me learn from mistakes without making me feel like I was drowning, and an organization genuinely invested in growing leaders at every level. Years later, I realized it wasn't any one thing. It was the combination. And I thought: what if that didn't have to be an accident?

That's where Leading Humans @ Work came from.

Let's talk

If you're ready to build a culture where managers actually lead - I'd love to have a conversation.
